Visit the Grand Rivers Arts & Crafts Festival
The Grand Rivers Chamber of Commerce Arts & Crafts Festival is the place to be for Labor Day Weekend. The event will feature original and handcrafted items from over 110 talented crafters and artisans from 6 states.
Visitors will also enjoy a wide variety of delicious carnival food and regional specialties while at the festival.
The main stage also features a musical lineup of bluegrass, river music and singer-songwriters. Musicians include JD Wilkes, Jack Martin and Good Company, the Elliot Howard Band, and the Wheelhouse Rousters.
This three-day show takes place in Little Lake Park. Saturday and Sunday hours are 9am -5pm, and Monday hours are 9am – 3pm. Admission is $2 per person at the walk-in gate, and $5 per car at the drive-in gate, with free admission for Children under 12 years old. Step Back in Time at The Homeplace 1850s Trades Fair – Land Between The Lakes
This Labor Day weekend, the Homeplace 1850’s celebrates the hard labor and hand work skills of our ancestors during the Trades Fair. At a time when few things were manufactured, people had to rely on their skills or their neighbors to produce everything from knitted socks to horseshoes.
Visit Labor Day weekend with local traditional trades and craft people as they share their skills and knowledge of these lost folk arts. Hand crafted items will be available for purchase.
